Hi. I dont know what to say. Good bye Kono. I wish I knew you better. May you run freely and have many yogurt drops and corn cobs where you are.
On a related note, Chris and I love visiting Hawaii--we have often remarked that Hawaii is close to being a rat heaven--no snakes, lots of vegetation and fruit bearing trees. May our rats be reborn as rats living in Hawaii or some similar place.
We also fondly remember Jahangir's propensity for mischief. Maybe, we say, "good deeds" in rat heaven really are measured by how 'bad' you have been--how many wires you chewed, or clothes, shoes you shredded.
May all our rats be 'good bad' rats.
The epitaph we think Jahangir and maybe other rats would love--'He was the best of rats; he was the worst of rats!'
You are right...a rat that wasn't a "bad rat" wasn't a very good rat!
Today the "baby" boys chewed up my shoe...while it was on my foot. I saw what they were doing, but it looked like they were enjoying themselves.
