Bumblefoot?

It looks like we may have our first case of bumblefoot (more technically, ulcerative pododermatitis here. Victor just noticed the sores on Rufus' feet tonight:

There is one ulcer on the back of each foot. Here's a close-up:

We didn't think this required the Sunday night emergency vet, since Rufus is walking around perfectly happy. We just cleaned his feet and his cage with Nolvasan for now, and we'll take him to the regular vet as soon as we can.

Oww, that looks painful. Poor Rufus. What's the treatment?

OH NO.. thats terrible.. my Reuben had Bumble foot earlier this year..

hope Rufus gets better soon..
